Attention Shopaholics!

Incase you haven't noticed, there is a war going on, all over the city of Barcelona! The majority of the action seems to be happining in places such as Corte Ingles, Zara, Desigual, and other major stores. The madness has spread out onto the street with people rushing up and down Portal Angel, Las Ramblas and Passeo de Gracia searchin for good deals on clothes, music etc.
It's wild out there at the moment, but good reason to be. From personal experience, it looks good with chains offering a wide range of goods at great prices. It all kicked off on Sunday 1st July and will continue until August 31st. So for all you would-be tourists searching for summer accomodation in Barcelona for the beach, the sights, the culture; well now you've got another reason to come. Some hardcore retail therapy!!!
But be careful, these shoppers stop for noone!

This year, I prefer my Butter on my Bread

For the style victims or simply those who love fashion, the new edition of the Bread and Butter Brand Bible is about to be launched. But alliterations aside, Barcelona is ready for the summer edition of Bread and Butter. This fashion fair takes place at Plaza España and is seen by the Bread and Butter group as the strongest, most international, most successful of its kind in Europe.

It represents the global catwalk of new trends for young people and is seen as an essential event as a platform for communication and specialized marketing for contemporary fashion.

It comes at the perfect time of the year in Barcelona at the beginning of July for taking in the sun meanwhile giving you an excuse to picking out your best "Poser shades" for the exhibition. Finding accommodation in Barcelona can be easily done over the internet, with a range of swanky apartments available for rent, so as you can live the lifestyle of one of the supermodels on the runway, but at a cheap rate.

The new edition is being held in Studio.05 with a collection of fashion which represents artistic creations and contributions uniting space and creative talent.

The last event had 53ooo participants from 95 countries, mostly from Spain and Portugal and many professionals looking out for fresh ideas, the new craze and trends.
